1. Osaka, Japan
With the Rugby World Cup being held in Japan next year, there’s never been a more exciting time to visit. While prices will surely go up around September and October during the World Cup, plan a trip to Osaka in May or June when return flights are just £598. If you want to catch the cherry blossoms, the start of April is your best bet.
British Airways will have direct flights to Osaka four times per week on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays from London Heathrow arriving into Kansai International Airport.

3. Kiev and Lviv, Ukraine
Located in Ukraine’s west, Lviv is a UNESCO-listed city and filled with quaint coffee houses, colorful architecture and cobblestoned streets.

Often considered a ‘stop-over’ city for the appealing resorts in nearby towns, Bourgas is worth it’s own weekend break. The port city has a number of lakes just outside the city, perfect for nature lovers.
