The Self-Compassion Linked to Student’ well-being!

The University of British Columbia researchers found student who reported higher levels of self compassion felt more energetic and more optimistic during their first semester.

Our Study suggests the psychological stress students may experience during transition between high school and University can be mitigated with self-compassion because it enhances the psychological needs of anatomy, competence, and relatedness, which turn, enriches well-being, said Kate Gunnell, the study’s lead author.
