YOGA CAN HELP REDUCE SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION
Attending yoga and deep breathing classes at least twice a week and regular practice at home can help people reduce symptoms of depression, according to a new study from Boston University School of Medicine.
The findings, which appear in the Journal of alternative and complementary medicine, provide preliminary support for the use of yoga-based interventions as an alternative or supplement to pharmacologic treatments for depression. This Study used lyengar yoga.

A Washington State University researcher has discovered the way prostate cancer cells hijack the body’s bone maintenance, facilitating the spread of bone cancers present in some 90 percent of prostate-cancer fatalities.
